Will Josh Allen have to be Superman in Week 11?

The Buffalo Bills are 8-2 and have handled business in the AFC East. The Bills' last loss was against the Texans in Week 5, and they are now on a five-game winning streak.

Josh Allen has been efficient and doing what he has to do to win games; he didn't need to be the "Superman" type of player for them. The offense looks balanced. However, the Bills' offensive line has been a bit undisciplined, especially Spencer Brown, who is also questionable with an ankle injury for this upcoming game against the Chiefs.

Other important players that are questionable are Amari Cooper and Dalton Kincaid, while Keon Coleman has been ruled out. The offense will potentially be without their two starting receivers, tight end, and starting right tackle, which puts a damper on facing an undefeated Chiefs team.

Regardless, Allen may have to put on his cape for this game. The Chiefs' defense is physical and grueling. Their defensive coordinator, Steve Spagnuolo is one of the best in the business. He will draw up blitzes and make sure the defense wins at the line of scrimmage, and this is a big reason why the Chiefs are third in the NFL in total run defense and top-10 in total pass defense.

The most likely scenario is that Cooper will play, but Brown's ankle and Kincaid's knee are still in question. The gameplan will change quite a bit if Cooper ends up as the only healthy one out of the three. There will likely be more quick passes, RPO's and Allen may run out of the pocket a lot more.

Josh Allen's Predicted Stats

Joe Brady will play to the Chiefs' weaknesses and focus on the passing game in the middle of the field, targeting Knox (or/and Kincaid if healthy) and Khalil Shakir a little more than others. However, even with Brown potentially absent, Allen will still be able to improvise, extend plays, and run if he needs to.

The Bills' run defense has been very poor this year, so the Chiefs will continue their ground and pound philosophy on offense, giving Allen less time on offense. However, the defense will adjust eventually and turn into an all-out brawl between the two quarterbacks.

Allen will finish the game with over 40 passing attempts, going 28/42 with 324 passing yards, three touchdowns, one interception. On the ground, Allen will record 56 rushing yards on eight attempts with a touchdown.
