It’s a battle of two of the best teams in the NFL this Sunday. All of the national attention will be set in Orchard Park, NY where the 8-2 Bills host the 9-0 Chiefs for a 4:25PM battle. Since 2021, the Chiefs have yet to beat the Bills in the regular season. However, the playoffs are a different story. For now, the main focus is on Week 11 and the Bills are looking to get their fourth consecutive win over the Chiefs in the regular season.

The winner of this game will have the tiebreaker that could be the different between the number one seed, and the fourth seed heading into the playoffs. Buffalo will need every advantage possible in the playoffs and it starts this Sunday by beating the Chiefs and gaining a little help on the way.

In their last two matchups against each other, the Bills have defeated the Chiefs by no more than four points. It has come down to the wire in each game and there should be no reason why this upcoming game isn’t the same. With that, we take a look at three bold predictions for the Bills as they prepare for the Chiefs this weekend.

3 bold predictions for Buffalo Bills in Week 11

Bills defense gets 5+ sacks

Patrick Mahomes has been sacked 20 times this year so far. This is a great opportunity for Buffalo’s defensive line to cause some pressure upfront to rattle Mahomes.

The Bills have 25 sacks this year, with Greg Rousseau leading at 5.5 sacks. Taking Mahomes out of his comfort zone and forcing him to make bad throws is what will slow down the Chiefs offense. Even though Kansas City’s defense has been the difference maker this season, Buffalo cannot allow the Chiefs to play well on both sides of the ball. Being able to take care of business by pressuring Mahomes and sacking him will put Josh Allen and the Buffalo offense in a great position.

Josh Allen throws for 300+ yards

Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo has done a terrific job with this defense in Kansas City. Whether you want to believe it or not, they are the reason why the Chiefs are winning this season. One of the reasons why they have been so impactful is because of their all-around defensive effort against the pass and run.

They have yet to allow 300+ passing yards in a game and since their bye week, they have only allowed 200+ yards once. Enter Josh Allen into the conversation and this defense is going to be battle tested.

Allen has been great at protecting the ball this year, limiting his turnovers. Part of the factor is how the offense has been ran under Joe Brady. Now with this game against the Chiefs, the Bills are going to need Allen to play the Superman role, so it would not be a surprise to see Allen chucking the ball down and throwing for over 300 yards.

Chiefs defense doesn’t sack Josh Allen

Kansas City has just 19 sacks on the year, six less than the Bills. Allen has been sacked 13 times. After only being sacked twice in the first three weeks, Allen has been sacked atleast once in every single game since then.

The Bills offensive line will be an x-factor in this game and they will play a heavy role as to whether or not Buffalo wins this game. If Allen can avoid getting sacked this Sunday, there is a high chance that Buffalo can move the ball down the field with no issue and they won’t find themselves in critical third down-and-long situations.
