It's not the greatest thing to receive, but we'll take it.

Week 4 will be a time where the entire AFC East will forget about. All four teams; Buffalo Bills, New York Jets, New England Patriots, and Miami Dolphins all suffered losses against their respective opponents.

We all know what happened on Sunday Night Football with the Buffalo Bills, losing 35-10 to the Baltimore Ravens. The New York Jets lost to a rookie quarterback in Bo Nix who had 60 passing yards. New England went all the way across the country just to get crushed by the San Francisco 49ers. Then the Miami Dolphins had an ugly loss against the Tennessee Titans on Monday Night Football.

Seeing all four AFC East teams losing in one week is rare, but here we are talking about. There have been a lot of strange things that have occurred within the division. The Patriots started off strong but have heavily disappointed the last two weeks. The Jets are up-and-down and we never know what Jets team we will get. Miami losing Tua Tagovailoa in Week 2 has hurt them beyond measure. Then the Bills are the only ones who looked like the best team in the division up until this past Sunday.

This was a strange gift that was given to the Buffalo Bills

Seeing the Bills lose the way they did was close to unbearable. There was no fight from them and they took the loss that they rightfully deserved. However, with the way that everything worked out with their division rivals, they do not have to worry about anyone threatening to take the division from them as of now.

The only team that could have challenged them for the top spot in the division was the Jets, before they failed to put up a touchdown against the Broncos. The AFC East standings are as follows:

Buffalo Bills (3-1)

New York Jets (2-2)

New England Patriots (1-3)

Miami Dolphins (1-3)

It was overall a bad week for the division, but the Bills got lucky with this. Still being at the top of the division, Buffalo can now turn their attention to the Houston Texans for a 1PM battle down in Houston in Week 5.
