Cornerbacks (6)

Christian Benford, Rasul Douglas, Taron Johnson, Kaiir Elam, Daequan Hardy, Cam Lewis

The Buffalo Bills probably would prefer to have more than six cornerbacks but it is tough for them to find another roster spot to give the position. However, these six cornerbacks give the Bills enough versatility that they should have enough depth.

At the top of the depth chart right now are Christian Benford and Rasul Douglas as the starters on the outside with Taron Johnson at nickel. However, Kaiir Elam has looked good during offseason workouts and should make Benford and Douglas earn their spots during training camp.

At nickel, the Bills have two players who could back up Johnson in Cam Lewis and Daequan Hardy. However, both could make impacts in other ways as Lewis could play outside cornerback if needed but also has some experience at safety. Meanwhile, Hardy should compete for the punt return job during training camp.

If the Bills keep seven cornerbacks, then that spot would probably go to Ja'Marcus Ingram who has experience with this defense and has appeared in five games over the past two years.
