UPDATE: The Bills versus Steelers game has been postponed until Monday at 4:30 PM due to inclement weather in Buffalo on Sunday. What follows is the original write up previous to the postponement.

The Pittsburgh Steelers and Buffalo Bills will throw down on Sunday afternoon in an NFL Super Wild Card Weekend showdown.

The Bills are the only double-digit favorites in the opening round of the NFL Playoffs. If you want to check out my best bet for the game, you can read my full betting preview here.

In this article, we're talking player props. Let's dive into my top three for this game.

Steelers vs. Bills prop bets

  • James Cook Rushing + Receiving Yards OVER 88.5
  • Stefon Diggs OVER 5.5 receptions
  • Mason Rudolph UNDER 157.5 passing yards

James Cook Rushing + Receiving Yards OVER 88.5

James Cook has played a huge role in the Bills' hot streak to close out the season, both in the ground game and through the air. I expect the Bills to come out and play this game like they played the Cowboys a few weeks back where Cook went over 200 rushing and receiving yards.

Also, if the Bills get up to an early lead as the point spread indicates, we could see them turn to the run game to drain the clock. That's where Cook comes in.

Stefon Diggs OVER 5.5 receptions

Stefon Diggs had a quiet second half of the season which caused him to buy in a "buy low" spot, which means it's time to invest in him in some degree. He's coming off a seven reception performance against the Miami Dolphins and he could have another big game against the Steelers.

I'll take the OVER on his receptions total.

Mason Rudolph UNDER 157.5 passing yards

Mason Rudolph has done enough to lead the Steelers to the playoffs, but I think he comes crashing back down to earth on Saturday. The Bills secondary has been one of the best in the second half of the season and Rudolph's success this year has come against two of the worst secondaries in the Seahawks and Bengals.

If the Steelers have any chance, it's going to be with the run game. I'll take the UNDER on Rudolph's passing yards total.
