The Buffalo Bills got clowned on this offseason after they traded Stefon Diggs for next to nothing. Well, after the team is off to a 3-0 start with the offense absolutely humming, it appears that the move needed to happen because the offense is better off for it.
When speaking to the media after the Bills' blowout win over Jacksonville, Josh Allen made a comment that might have sounded like he was taking a shot at Diggs. Allen was discussing how he spread the ball out to 10 different receivers in the Monday night win and noted how it was nice to have players not worried about stats and touchdowns.

"You know, it’s a fun and wonderful thing when you have a bunch of guys that don’t care about the stats, they don’t care about the touchdowns, and again, I think throughout practice, we’ve just had this mindset of like, ‘Hey, let’s just do things the right way and find ways to win football games. That’s what we’re doing right now.”
For those who followed the Bills closely during Diggs' time with the team, this sure sounds like Allen is dunking on his former receiver. Diggs was known for his dramatic antics and would amp up the theatrics whenever he didn't feel he had enough targets in the game.
Josh Allen might have taken a shot at Stefon Diggs
Trading Diggs might have seemed foolish at the time but the Bills have proved that they don't need him for their offense to thrive. Allen is spreading the ball around more and doesn't have to worry about players being upset and causing a scene if he doesn't send the ball in their direction enough.
As for Diggs in Houston, he just had his best game of the season with his new team, hauling in 10 catches for 94 yards in a blowout loss to Minnesota. Before that game, Diggs had just 10 receptions for 70 yards and two touchdowns so he's not exactly lighting it up in H-Town.
We'll see if Diggs balls out against the Bills when the two teams meet up on October 6th. Hopefully, the Bills can shut him down and he can start his dramatic antics in Houston.
