Cameron Dantzler

Cameron Dantzler was a third round pick by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2020 NFL Draft and looked like he could be a fixture in the Vikings' secondary for the foreseeable future with 10 starts as a rookie. He would have 46 total tackles, two interceptions, and four passes defended with one forced fumble.

He would follow that up and start seven games his second year in the NFL and improve in yards allowed per completion (11.7 as a rookie to 8.7) and QB rating allowed (92.8 as a rookie to 74.7). This past season he would have nine starts and seemed to regress before suffering a season-ending ankle injury.

Dantzler would be released this offseason before being claimed on waivers by the Washington Commanders. However, that was short-lived as he was waived a few months later before being signed by the Buffalo Bills.

Among the players on the list, Dantzler probably has the best chance at making the 53-man roster because after Tre'Davious White, Kaiir Elam, Christian Benford, Taron Johnson, and Dane Jackson it is a pretty open competition between Dantzler, Siran Neal, Cam Lewis and Alex Austin.
