It sounds like DeAndre Hopkins badly wants to play for the Buffalo Bills

From what started out as a mere possibility and transformed into rumors and whispers, Buffalo Bills fans are wondering if the DeAndre Hopkins saga is finally going to end with him in Western New York.

Over the course of the offseason, we've read plenty of reports stating that Hopkins could get traded, or even released, and that Buffalo is one of the top landing spots for the 3-time All Pro.

Hopkins, himself, has even hinted at the possibility of joining the Bills, appearing more animated and excited, on video, when Buffalo was mentioned as a potential landing spot. Now, we've come to the latest chapter in the Hopkins, Bills saga.

Hopkins has not hidden his desire to play for the Buffalo Bills this offseason, and recently appeared on the I Am Athlete Podcast, giving his top five quarterbacks he'd love to catch passes from.

"Oh, that's a good question. I would have to say, one of my favorite quarterbacks that I've been watching since he came into the league, is... Josh Allen. He reminds me of a new school Andrew Luck, and you know... I love Josh Allen.

It hasn't been just Hopkins to pour fuel on the fire, though. Even veteran pass rusher Von Miller has suggested that the Bills are going to get Hopkins at some point this offseason.

Set to turn 31 years old in June, Hopkins is now at the point in his career where he wants to win a championship, badly. If you look at those five quarterbacks, obviously most of them present an enticing opportunity to win.

With the Arizona Cardinals heading into a rebuild, Hopkins' time there is almost up. It's just become a question of "when" and not "if" he will head to a new team.

Our best guess is that, if Hopkins is going to be released or traded, it will happen before training camp, simply so the Cardinals can do right by the veteran and get him into camp with his new team. Hopefully, that means we're nearing the end of all this. And hopefully, that means Hopkins ends up in Buffalo.
