Don't do this to us, Davante.

It's looking more and more likely that the Las Vegas Raiders are going to trade Davante Adams. The team isn't off to an atrocious start, sitting at 2-2 on the year, but Adams appears unhappy with the organization and the team has reportedly become open to trading him. The Buffalo Bills previously looked to be a possible landing spot for the former second-round pick but that's not what Adams wants.

According to Ian Rapoport, if Adams had his way, he'd be traded to the New York Jets. This isn't a shocking revelation considering that Adams played with Aaron Rodgers for eight years in Green Bay so it'd make sense that he'd like to go catch passes from a quarterback whose style of play he's familiar with. He'd also mostly like to just get as far away from Gardner Minshew as possible, which is understandable.

The good news is that the Bills are hypothetically still in the running. Buffalo was listed as a possible landing spot by Rapoport and the NFL insider says that Adams won't necessarily get the final say when it comes to where he'll be traded.

"While the Raiders could trade Adams to the Jets, they will do what's best for their organization, sources say, including taking the best deal from the highest bidder. While players generally have some semblance of control -- in this case, Adams would have to rework his contract to facilitate a trade -- he is not in total control of where he ends up."

Sadly, Davante Adams wants to be traded to the Jets

Adams was a second-round pick by the Green Bay Packers in the 2014 NFL Draft after a standout career at Fresno State. He played with Aaron Rodgers and the Packers for eight years before he was traded to the Raiders so that he could reunite with former Fresno State quarterback Derek Carr.

Now Carr is in New Orleans, which is another team that Rapoport listed as a possible destination for the former Fresno State receiver. Rapoport said the Bills, Cowboys, Jets, Ravens, Saints, Steelers, and possibly 49ers were all teams that either reached out about Adams or places he'd be happy going. We don't know which category the Bills fall into but with Josh Allen at the helm and the success the Bills have had in recent years, it wouldn't be crazy if Adams wanted to play in Buffalo.

Let's hope that if the Bills can't end up working out a deal for Adams that at least the Jets don't end up with him.
