On paper, the Buffalo Bills may not have a ton of valuable weapons on the offense. However, nothing is ever guaranteed until we see it in live action. One thing that is for certain though is that the Bills have a rising young tight end in Dalton Kincaid, who the Bills traded up for in the 2023 NFL Draft. He has surpassed Dawson Knox as the receiving tight end for the offense and has the chance to grow even more in his sophomore year.v
If you play fantasy football, whether it is a dynasty league or not, you need to strongly consider getting Kincaid on your team somehow and someway. With the way the Bills offseason has fallen, Buffalo does not have that true number one wideout like they have had the last four seasons in Stefon Diggs. This season, Bills fans could easily see Kincaid become the number one target for Josh Allen which could heavily benefit fantasy football owners.
Jonathon Macri from Pro Football Focus believes that Kincaid has a high chance at being a breakout candidate for tight ends in fantasy this season. We couldn’t agree more.
Kincaid had the second most targets last season on the Bills (91), trailing only Diggs (160), and also finished with the third most receiving yards (673). Those numbers are highly likely to increase.
"Kincaid already delivered in a big way as a rookie and now, we’re betting on the significant improvement/breakout that is represented in his current TE4 ADP. Doing so would allow for much more than his 9.1 PPR points per game from last season and put him firmly on the map as a weekly top-five fantasy tight end. "Jonathon Macri, Pro Football Focus
After Week 6 of last season, Kincaid only had two games where he was not targeted atleast six times or more. As of right now, the only receiver in the Bills wideout room that could steal targets from Kincaid is Khalil Shakir, but Kincaid should have more of a Travis Kelce-like role in Joe Brady’s offense. As you prepare for your fantasy drafts, or are looking to make an underrated trade in your dynasty league, look no further than Kincaid to potentially help you make a run at the championship.
