Colin Cowherd projection proves that the Bills still own AFC East

The AFC East will be a tight battle in 2024 and the Buffalo Bills are going to need to do everything possible to win their fifth consecutive division championship. For the last four seasons, the Bills have been crowned champions of the division but this could potentially be the year that they are dethroned despite having Josh Allen under center.

There is a mixture of fans and analysts that have mixed opinions about how the Bills will perform this season. Some believe that Buffalo will still be competing at a high level and take another shot at reaching the Super Bowl, while others are saying that Buffalo doesn’t stand a chance to make the playoffs, let alone make a deep run to the Super Bowl. One believer in the media thinks that the Bills are still on top of the AFC East.

Colin Cowherd from “The Herd” released his “Super Bowl bubble” which includes teams that have the best chance at winning it all, as well as teams that are just on the outside.

Cowherd placed the Bills inside the bubble along with the 49ers, Chiefs, Lions, Eagles, Ravens, Rams, and Packers. The teams outside of the bubble were the Texans, Bengals, and the Jets.

It is funny to see that the Jets, who are one of the most overhyped teams going into 2024, are not in this bubble. Considering the fact that the Jets do have a talented roster, Cowherd doesn’t think they are a true championship contender. What is even funnier is the fact that the Miami Dolphins are nowhere on this graph. 

It seems like Cowherd is going towards the direction of until someone takes down the Bills, they are in control of the AFC East and they are still a Super Bowl contender. Maybe they don’t look as strong as they once did, but they still have a top three quarterback in Josh Allen.
