CBS Sports puts Buffalo Bills in wrong spot on recent power rankings list

You've got to be kidding.

Through three weeks of the NFL season, there are still five remaining undefeated teams and one of them is the Buffalo Bills. The one thing that has been impressive with the Bills is how they have won those three games. In Week 1, they made a comeback being down by 14 points against the Arizona Cardinals and ended up winning 34-28.

Then in the last two weeks, the Bills have demolished their opponents’ spirits, putting up 30+ and 40+ points and only allowing 10 points by each opponent. We are seeing this “everybody eats” mentality and it has been very beneficial for Buffalo. The offense is not a one man show. Everyone is getting involved and no defense has been able to stop the Bills.

The Bills have proven themselves to be the best 3-0 team in the league, but one analyst doesn’t think so. Pete Prisco of CBS Sports recently released his power rankings on CBS Sports and the Bills are not at the top of the list. Instead, Prisco has the Kansas City Chiefs ahead of them as the top team, while Buffalo is #2 on the list.

Pete Prisco’s power rankings are wrong

Prisco went on to say this about the Chiefs:

"They are winning close games, but the record says they are undefeated. I still think the best is yet to come. Travis Kelce needs to pick it up."

Then this is what Prisco said about the Bills:

"This team is rolling right now. But now comes a big one with the Ravens on the road. Josh Allen is the MVP leader right now."

Putting the Chiefs above the Bills is a mistake. Kansas City has barely won their first three games. It has come down to the wire in all of them. In Week 1, Isaiah Likely’s big toe just stepped out of bounds that cost the Ravens a game-tying touchdown. Then in their last two games, the Chiefs either have received a pass interference call that helped them, or got away with a pass interference call. They are 3-0, but they are not the best 3-0 team.

The Bills have established themselves as the best undefeated team and should be in the top spot of this power rankings list. Josh Allen is playing at an elite MVP level and the Bills are rolling over their opponents. However, putting the Bills as underdogs is fine with them as they have shown to play better when they are doubted.
