Buffalo Bills: Week 18 final score prediction versus Miami Dolphins
The Buffalo Bills have had quite a season. It's been a season filled with highs and lows. You could say more lows than highs to this point. However, as the Bills head into the final week of the regular season with a four-game winning streak, they find themselves in a position to win their fourth consecutive AFC East title. Despite sitting at a 6 - 6 record after 12 games, and multiple injuries that would have crippled most teams, every goal the Bills set at the beginning of the season is still there for the taking.
The Miami Dolphins season as turned the other direction and is in a downward spiral. They were atop the AFC East just a few weeks ago with a 9 - 3 record and three games up on the Bills. After losses to Tennessee and Baltimore, they now are only a game ahead and now must win a game against a team with a winning record. Something they've done only once in nearly two years. Miami is suffering through a ton of injuries at this point in the season, which could ultimately prove to be their downfall, even into the playoffs.
This game with the Bills and Dolphins is the biggest game between these two teams since the 1993 AFC Championship, a game the Bills won. This one is for the division title and the number two seed in the AFC playoffs. However, it could carry even more weight for the Bills if the Steelers and Jaguars win their respective games, then that means Buffalo will have to beat the Dolphins just to get into the playoffs.
Josh Allen has been fantastic against the Dolphins, completely dominating them throughout his career; however, the Buffalo offense hasn't been on track the last couple of weeks, but I think this is the game that they get things rolling again. Fortunately, the Bills' defense has been on fire as of late, including newly acquired Rasul Douglas and the Bills' surprise of the season, Terrel Bernard.
The last time these two teams faced each other, the Bills dominated, winning the game 48 - 20. Will this week be more of the same or will the Dolphins be ready and potentially knock the Bills out of the playoffs before the playoffs even start? Wildcard weekend begins now for the Buffalo Bills.
