2.) Josh Allen looking to go 3-0 vs. Washington

Since Allen was drafted by the Bills in 2018, Buffalo has faced Washington twice and have defeated them in both meetings. The Bills defeated Washington in 2019, 24-9, and then in 2021, 43-21. In two games against Washington, Allen has posted a passer rating of 123.6 and has thrown for 518 yards, five touchdowns, and has completed 73% of his throws. Allen has only been sacked twice in two games (both in the 2019 matchup).

This will be the best Commanders team that Allen will face and it starts up front with the defensive line that will be right in front of him. Depending on what the defense of the Commanders gives him, Allen will need to make sure to not play hero ball and be able to feel the blitz within the pocket.

This isn’t to say that the offensive line can’t handle the pass rush, but the Commanders lead the NFL in sacks heading into Week 3 and they are looking to add on more against Allen.
