Buffalo Bills: Updated AFC East Standings after Week 6
By Brandon Ray
4.) New England Patriots (1-5) - loss vs. Las Vegas Raiders, 21-17
Bill Belichick and the Patriots traveled to Las Vegas to take on his old offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels and the Raiders, with the Patriots looking for any answer to score a touchdown, something that they did not do the two previous games.
However, while the Patriots scored one more touchdown than the Raiders, New England still suffered the loss. Quarterback Mac Jones finished 24/33 for 200 yards and an interception, with a QB rating of 24.3. The running game for New England between Rhamondre Stevenson and Ezekiel Elliott combined for 17 carries for 80 yards.
The Patriots’ defense gave up just under 100 yards more than what they gained, and New England overall gave up 10 penalties for 79 yards. The icing on the cake for this game was Mac Jones getting sacked for a safety with under 2 minutes left, giving the Raiders a 21-17 win.
The Patriots have now lost three games in a row, and are back at home next week to host the Buffalo Bills.
