4.) New England Patriots - loss to Philadelphia Eagles, 25-20

The Patriots had arguably the toughest opponent out of all the AFC East teams. In the first game of the year, they hosted the Eagles in which former Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was in attendance in which the Patriots honored him at halftime.

The Patriots went down early 16-0 that included a Mac Jones pick-six by cornerback Darius Slay who returned it 70 yards for the touchdown. The Patriots then responded with two consecutive touchdowns to cut the lead to 16-14, but then it was all Eagles from there on out.

The Patriots managed to score with Kendrick Bourne with over 3 minutes left in the game and had a chance to lead a comeback only down by five points. The Patriots were not able to convert on a fourth down on the last offensive play as Kayshon Boutte was not able to get both feet in bounds which caused a turnover on downs and an 0-1 start to the season for the Patriots.
