We’re now in the second full week of June, and Buffalo Bills general manager, Brandon Beane, yet again made another signing to improve the team. This time, it was a pass rusher in former Los Angeles Ram, Leonard Floyd.

The Bills signed him to a one-year deal and will add him to a mix of pass rushers, highlighted by Von Miller and Gregory Rousseau. With Shaq Lawson, A.J. Epenesa, and Boogie Basham on the team as well, the team now looks stacked on the edge. Even if Von Miller does miss time early on while still recovering from a Thanksgiving ACL tear, it is still a great group, and most importantly, deep.

The Floyd signing was just one of the many the Buffalo Bills have made this off-season. While there were not any monster signings this off-season like last year’s addition of Von Miller; there were still some big ones from Beane. It doesn’t take a genius to know that Beane has been one of the best general managers in the NFL over the past few years.

The Buffalo Bills were a cursed team, stuck in a purgatory of losing seasons, bad quarterback play, and just a dark era of football in Western New York. Once head coach Sean McDermott brought in Beane, that changed. Beane and McDermott righted the ship and brought joy back to the flatlining franchise. It took a few years, but the Buffalo Bills have now consistently been one of the best teams in the NFL, and competing for a Super Bowl title over multiple seasons.

That is not set to change this upcoming season, as the Buffalo Bills somehow managed to improve a team that only lost 4 games last year, including the playoffs. With minimal cap space and assets, Brandon Beane performed what was essentially wizardry, to improve the team. With all the great he’s done so far, this off-season might just be Brandon Beane’s best work yet, and here’s why.
