Buffalo Bills News: Christian Kirksey, Dawson Knox, Eric Bieniemy
Dawson Knox misses second practice and Week 3 is in jeopardy now
The Buffalo Bills are dealing with a number of injuries heading into Week 3 against the Washington Commanders. While the good news is that some players are trending in the right direction, it seems to be increasingly more likely that at least one player is going to miss the game on Sunday.
Dawson Knox is dealing with a back injury and hasn't been able to practice yet this week after not practicing on Thursday. While there is still one more practice, typically if a player misses the first two practices, they are unlikely to be ready to play on Sunday.
If Dawson Knox is not able to play, this will be a big loss for the offense as he is a key target for Josh Allen in the red zone. He had one touchdown against the Raiders but also had a second if he could complete an incredible one handed catch.
The good news is that the Bills had three players return to the practice field, in some capcity, after missing Wednesday's pracitce. Jordan Phillips was a full participant after missing Wednesday due to an illness while Leonard Floyd and Micah Hyde were limited participants on Thursday.
The Bills have not had any player carry an injury designation yet this season but that is set to change this week.
