The Buffalo Bills are looking to win their second straight game of the 2023 season when they travel to Washington to play the Commanders on Sunday. However, it seems as we get closer to the game more uncertainty starts to come up.

Let's take a closer look at some of the top headlines from yesterday for the Bills.

Christian Kirksey retires, Buffalo Bills sign linebacker A.J. Klein to practice squad

On Thursday, the Buffalo Bills made some roster moves as linebacker Christian Kirksey informed the team that he would be retiring from the NFL. The Bills signed Kirksey to their practice squad just a few weeks ago after he was released by the Houston Texans.

The signing at the time made a lot of sense as the team had plenty of questions at middle linebacker with Tyrel Dodson struggling in the preseason and Terrel Bernard missing the entire preseason with a hamstring injury.

In a corresponding move, the Bills brought back a veteran linebacker the coaching staff knows well in A.J. Klein. He has played almost his entire career in Sean McDermott's defense and was released prior to the season. Now on the practice squad, it gives the Bills an insurance policy and a veteran leader at the position.
