2.) Run the ball

Despite not being an explosive offense for about six weeks since Week 5, the Bills have found their running game within their committee of James Cook, Latavius Murray, and now Ty Johnson. In their last three games, the Bills have rushed for 130+ yards (two of those games were 170+ yards).

Cook has been playing with more physicality than he was in the beginning of the year and Johnson, who was recently elevated to the Bills’ roster has provided the number two services that Murray has been unable to do this season. While Murray has had flashes, Johnson has shown to be a stronger Cook who can catch passes out of the backfield.

In the Chiefs’ last seven games, they are giving up on average over 120+ rushing yards per game in that stretch. Not only is this an advantage for the Buffalo offense, but it is also an opportunity to keep Mahomes and the Kansas City offense off the field and force them to play catch-up.
