This has become the never-ending offseason saga for the Buffalo Bills. Here we are, yet again, talking about 3-time All Pro wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins joining the Bills en route to a Super Bowl run this coming season.

Surely, if Hopkins were to sign in Buffalo, the Bills would be a Super Bowl favorite.

A couple of months ago, here's where the situation stood. The Arizona Cardinals were rumored to be looking at trading Hopkins. Then, the rumors wound up being true. The Cardinals and Hopkins were going to split, but it was just a matter of finding a trade partner.

Enter: the Bills. Buffalo was one of the early favorites to trade for Hopkins prior to the 2023 NFL Draft. However, as a few days passed, those talks died down and Buffalo was suddenly "out" on the All Pro wideout.

Now, Hopkins is officially a free agent. The Cardinals released him, sincerely doing the right thing for his future in allowing him to decide on his next home.

Over the course of the last couple months, Hopkins has made it pretty clear he would like to play for Buffalo, even making some public insinuations.

Right now, the Buffalo Bills are the odds-on favorite to sign DeAndre Hopkins

Per PointsBet Sportsbook, the Bills are currently +300 to sign Hopkins.

The Kansas City Chiefs also sit at the same odds.

Coming in next are the New York Jets at +600, followed closely by the Baltimore Ravens at +700.

It isn't just the betting outlets that believe the Bills will get him. The national media loves this pairing. NFL Media's Nick Shook believes the Bills are the number one landing spot for Hopkins, as well, and it's something regularly discussed on the television network as of late.

The 10-year veteran is set to turn 31 next month, and by all accounts, is ready to roll into a training camp this summer. Last year, he missed half the season due to a suspension for PED use. But, the only other year he's missed major games was in 2021 when he tore his MCL and played in 10 games.

Besides that one major injury, Hopkins has played in at least 15 games every season of his pro career. He still has one of the best catch radiuses in the game and you have likely never seen him drop a pass.

Do the Bills end up with him? Hopefully, we find out sooner rather than later. Let's get it done, Mr. Beane.
