Linebacker (5)

Matt Milano, Tyrel Dodson, Terrel Bernard, Dorian Williams, Tyler Matakevich (PUP list), A.J. Klein

The Buffalo Bills don't know who their starting middle linebacker is yet and may not know the final few spots quite yet. The biggest question mark right now is Tyler Matakevich, who is still on the PUP list. He is one of the best special teams players in the league and once healthy he will be on the roster.

If he returns before the regular season then he is the fifth linebacker, however for now it is a battle between A.J. Klein and Baylon Spector. The fact that Klein was on the field first against the Colts could be an indication that he is ahead of Spector on the depth chart.

Cornerback (6)

Tre'Davious White, Dane Jackson, Kaiir Elam, Christian Benford, Taron Johnson, Siran Neal

The Buffalo Bills have excellent depth at the cornerback position but it creates an issue at nickel. The team knows their four cornerbacks on the outside with Tre'Davious White, Dane Jackson, Kaiir Elam and Christian Benford.

The team will almost certainly also try to find a way to make sure Siran Neal is on the 53-man roster. He is a key part of special teams and is very important with Tyler Matakevich potentially not being ready to start the season.

The issue is that he struggles when on the field at nickel and replacing Taron Johnson. Through training camp, Cam Lewis has done a much better job in this role but the Bills may not have the spots available to keep him.
