Defensive End (6)

Von Miller, Greg Rousseau, Leonard Floyd, A.J. Epenesa, Boogie Basham, Shane Ray

With Von Miller working his way back from a knee injury I believe the Buffalo Bills will carry six defensive ends on the 53-man roster. This also means that Miller won't be on the PUP list, which I expect will be the case and at worse will be placed on injured reserve.

The reason the Bills do this is that Miller could return one week earlier because players on injured reserve are required to miss only three games while if he is put on the PUP list it is a minimum of four games.

The final spot is going to be a tough decision for the Buffalo Bills and I believe it is a toss up between Shaq Lawson and Shane Ray. I decided to go with Ray to give the Bills a little bit more pass rush, which Ray is better than Lawson in that department.

Defensive Tackle (4)

Ed Oliver, DaQuan Jones, Tim Settle, Poona Ford

The Buffalo Bills will have a tough decision at defensive tackle but it seems pretty obvious at this point that these will be the four defensive tackles on the 53-man roster. The tough decision is going to be having to cut Jordan Phillips.

Phillips returned to Buffalo last season and is a fan favorite with BillsMafia. However, he has struggled to stay healthy and at this point these are the four best defensive tackles.
