5.) Only one win vs. teams above .500

Out of the Bills’ five wins this season so far, one of them has been against the Miami Dolphins in which Buffalo beat them down 48-20. While that was a great win for the Bills, that is their only win against a team who has a winning record.

Their other wins came against the Las Vegas Raiders (3-5), Washington Commanders (3-5), New York Giants (2-6), and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-4). As far as their losses, two out of three have been against teams with winning records (New York Jets, 4-3 and the Jacksonville Jaguars, 6-2).

The Bills have only shown to beat one team that is amongst one of the best, and now they get the Bengals who come in at 4-3 and are on a high note after defeating the San Francisco 49ers.

4.) Only one road win this season

To go with the one win against a team above .500, the Bills are 1-2 on the road so far with their only win coming against the Commanders. Their two other losses are against the Jets in Week 1 and the New England Patriots in Week 7. In addition, they also lost in London to the Jaguars, even though it was considered a home game for the Bills.

Road wins in the NFL are not easy, but it shows what kind of team that the Bills are. If they do make the playoffs this season and have to go on the road, they are going to need to play their absolutely best football and it starts this Sunday in Cincinnati under the lights.
