David Edwards

The Buffalo Bills probably would not be overly excited about trading away guard David Edwards but for any team needing a starting guard, there should be interest. The Bills signed Edwards to a one-year deal this offseason after he played 53 games over four seasons with the Los Angeles Rams.

He was only able to play in four games last season due to two concussions but this preseason has looked healthy and played very well in all three preseason games. The reason the Bills would be hesitant to make a move is that they are currently dealing with injuries at the position as Connor McGovern missed the last preseason game after suffering an injury during practice.

While the absence of David Edwards would hurt their depth, the Bills do still have Ryan Bates on the roster who was a starting guard last season. He could step in for either McGovern or O'Cyrus Torrence at any point during the season. The Bills are unlikely to cut Edwards but with him on a one-year deal, they might be able to get a draft pick for a player who might not return after the season.
