The preseason has wrapped up for the Buffalo Bills as they end on a high note with a road win over the Chicago Bears. They have finished the preseason 2-1 and now turn their focus to the regular season and their matchup against the New York Jets in Week 1.
However, between now and then the Bills are going to have to make roster cuts as they go down from 90 players to 53 by Tuesday afternoon. The Bills have a very deep roster and they are likely not going to have room for players that would warrant a spot on the 53-man roster.
Over the next few days, general manager Brandon Beane will begin working the phone to see if there are any trades they might be able to make to get some type of return for a player who might not make the 53-man roster. This is something the team has done in the past and traded away players like Russell Bodine and Wyatt Teller during this period.
When looking at the roster, these are five players that could be on the trade block that might generate some interest from other teams in the NFL.
