One of the storylines heading into the Sunday night battle against the Cincinnati Bengals for the Buffalo Bills was how they would get the run game going. At the time, Cincinnati was giving up over 140 rushing yards on the ground, yet the Bills failed to get the run game going at all. Lead back James Cook had just six carries for 20 yards, where as Josh Allen was the main ball carrier with over 40 rushing yards himself. The Bills would go on to lose against the Bengals 24-18 to fall to 5-4.
With the Bills back on primetime against the Denver Broncos back in Orchard Park, their backs are up against the wall and they find themselves currently out of the playoff picture. Since Week 5, they have been going back and forth with wins and losses, and are now looking to bounce back this week with a win after losing in Week 9.
In order to get momemtum going on the offense, it will come down to the running game.
