Joe DeLamielleure - Right Guard

Joe DeLamielleure was the first pick of the Buffalo Bills in the 1973 NFL draft and was the 26th overall selection.  He is one of only two Hall of Fame offensive linemen of the Bills, the other being Billy Shaw.

Joe D earned five Pro Bowl appearances during his time with the Bills from 1973 until his final season with the team in 1979.  He would earn one more Pro Bowl berth in 1980 while with the Cleveland Browns.  He played five seasons with the Browns, until rejoining the Bills for one more season in 1985.

He was also a three-time first-team All-Pro with the Bills and four-time second-team All-Pro, including two with Cleveland.  Additionally, he was voted to the NFL Hall of Fame All-1970s team, joining fellow Bills teammate, Simpson.

Joe D played in 185 career games, including 112 with the Buffalo Bills and another 73 with the Cleveland Browns.  He started 175 of those games.  Unfortunately for DeLamielleure and the Bills, he got to play in only one playoff game while with the Bills and another two games with the Browns. Joe was elected to the NFL Hall of Fame in 2003 and was also selected to the Buffalo Bills 50th Anniversary team.
