R6:204 - Khristian Boyd - Defensive Interior, Northern Iowa

Anyone who has followed my work in writing, social media, or the podcast, is probably tired of me calling Khristian Boyd's name. On a recent show, we discussed our draft crushes and Boyd is one of those for me. Boyd is the perfect future replacement for DaQuan Jones, standing 6'2" and weighing nearly 330 pounds, he has the versatility (there's that word again) to play either the one or three-technique interior defensive positions. Check out this breakdown of Boyd's game on profootballnetwork.com.

R7:248 - Daijahn Anthony - Safety, Mississippi

I have to be honest here. Shortly after I made this pick, I regretted it, and here's why. I already selected Cooper DeJean in the first round and even though he's listed as a corner, I think he can have a greater impact at safety. So, instead of taking another safety with the 248th pick, I should have targeted someone like USC's Solomon Byrd who totaled 41 pressures in 2023, including seven sacks. Or better yet, James Madison University's Jalen Green, who produced a mind-blowing 56 pressures, including an exceptional 15.5 sacks in just nine games. He suffered a knee injury that ended his season; however, he believes he'll be ready to go for training camp.
