Tyler Matakevich - Middle linebacker/special teamer

I understand special teams are very important to Coach McDermott, but I think the Bills could do better at this point. Matakevich is 30 years old and while he's been a special team standout, Dorian Williams could be that guy and he's far more athletic, faster, and younger.

This would be a great way to keep Williams involved and continue his development. Matakevich is listed as a middle linebacker, whereas Williams is listed as the weakside outside linebacker but if the Bills are ever in a situation where they need Matakevich to step into a starting role at that spot, they might as well roll the dice with Williams.

I love the way that Williams plays, downhill and aggressive. He's clearly not afraid to get into the heart of the battle and knock some people around, which is perfect for special teams. He's already made plays on the Bills' special team unit so far in the preseason, and we'll probably get a very long look at him this weekend in their final preseason game.
