Buffalo Bills trade for Cory Littleton or Christian Kirksey

The Houston Texans are hoping for a much better season in DeMeco Ryan's first season as head coach. The defense should be the strength for this team and the linebacker position in particular has some impressive depth.

The Texans brought in free agents Denzel Perryman and Cory Littleton along with drafting Henry To'oTo'o this offseason and they are joined by Christian Kirksey, Christian Harris, and Blake Cashman from last year's team. It would be pretty surprising to see all six make the 53-man roster and if the Texans look to trade one of their veterans, then Cory Littleton or Christian Kirksey would make sense for the Bills.

Between the two, Christian Kirksey should be the first option who has started 29 games over the past two seasons for the Texans and has over 200 total tackles. He is a veteran linebacker that should have no issue communicating the plays but also not be a weakness in the middle of the field.

Cory Littleton is another veteran linebacker but has been a little more inconsistent since his Pro Bowl season with the Rams in 2018. He has also struggled a bit in coverage which could be a concern for the coaching staff.
