Buffalo Bills sign free agent Rashaan Evans

At this point of the year, the free agent market doesn't have many starting caliber free agents left at linebacker. The best option might be Rashaan Evans, who this past season played with the Atlanta Falcons and started every game for them.

This was Evans only season with the Falcons and previously played four seasons with the Titans after they drafted him in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He has started 67 career games and has 476 career tackles.

The biggest concern with Evans is that he has played almost exclusively in a 3-4 defense so a move to McDermott's traditional nickel defense might be a big learning curve for him. Another concern is that Evans struggled last season in coverage as quarterbacks had a rating of 112.6 when throwing in his direction.

However, at this point of the year it would be worth the time for the Buffalo Bills to bring Rashaan Evans in for a workout to see how he looks and could fit within this defense.
