Kaiir Elam

The Buffalo Bills should not look to have Tre'Davious White play much, or at all, in this first preseason game. He is a key part of this defense and the team can't risk him suffering an injury in a meaningless game.

However, the other reason to keep White on the sideline is they have to figure out who their starting cornerback is opposite the former All-Pro. The Bills have three players competing for that spot with Dane Jackson, Christian Benford, and Kaiir Elam.

In my opinion, the player who the coaching staff should give the most snaps to is Kaiir Elam, who was the team's first round pick last year. The Buffalo Bills at this point should know what they will get with Dane Jackson but Elam is still a bit of an unknown after an up and down rookie season.

This could be a game where Kaiir Elam makes a statement and establishes himself as the favorite in this position battle.
