Josh Allen will toss 2 touchdowns before the end of the first quarter
I believe Josh Allen and the starting offense is itching to get back on the field and begin to get the taste of the playoff loss out of their mouth. Both Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis have been lighting it up in training camp and practices thus far and look to be in mid-season form.
Allen will throw two opening-quarter touchdowns in this game and remind everyone how lethal this offense is with him at the helm. I think the league and Bills fans for that matter, may have forgotten how good this offense is. I know it seemed a struggle at times last season and the playoff loss was embarrassing but this offense was number two in the NFL. If all the pieces can come together this season and they stay healthy, imagine how good this offense will be in 2023.
QB1 and his starting cast will play through the first quarter and into the second, according to Coach McDermott. This will be our first look at the starting offense and who steps out on the field to start the game will be telling in terms of some of the position battles.
I’m excited to see the starters back on the field together and get things rolling. The Bills' offensive unit will steamroll the Steelers' defense and put up some points. The starters likely won’t play much at all in Week Three, so this may be our only opportunity until the season kickoffs on Monday Night Football.
