Greg Rousseau

Since the Bills drafted Greg Rousseau in 2021, he has been one of the team's starting defensive ends. He has certainly made his presence known and definitely is a key part of this defense.

However, Rousseau is in danger of falling into that 'Tremain Edmunds' category in terms of what he can bring to the defense. Edmunds was a starter for all five years he was with Buffalo and a big part of the defense but didn't really make those big-impact plays.

It was really clear this past season with Terrel Bernard who did a great job replacing him. He finished the season with the same number of sacks that Edmunds had in five, three more fumble recoveries, and only two fewer interceptions.

Greg Rousseau definitely has the ability to be a top tier pass rusher but it hasn't come together yet for him as he has never had more than eight sakcs in a season and this past year had only five. With the questions around Von Miller, the Bills really need Rousseau to emerge as that dominant pass rusher.
