For a few offseasons now, DJ Chark has been a popular free agent for the Buffalo Bills to pursue. It certainly makes sense to an extent as he has shown to be a big-play threat with a career average of 14.5 receiving yards per reception.

This past season he was with the Carolina Panthers and had 35 receptions for 525 receiving yards and five touchdowns, which was his best season since 2019 when he was a Pro Bowler with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

However, the Bills need a consistent wide receiver that can take some pressure off Diggs. There is no doubt that the team could sign Chark to a contract less than Gabe Davis this season, likely just a one-year deal but it remains to be seen if it would be an improvement for the position.
