4 players the Buffalo Bills could have drafted instead of Boogie Basham

Amon-Ra St. Brown

The final player is one that almost the entire NFL missed on as Amon-Ra St. Brown wasn't drafted until the fourth round by the Detroit Lions. The wide receiver out of USC has quickly emerged as one of the best slot receivers in the league with 196 receptions, 2,073 receiving yards, and 11 receiving touchdowns.

At the time, the Buffalo Bills didn't need a wide receiver as they had Stefon Diggs, Gabe Davis and Cole Beasley but they still addressed the position by selecting Marquez Stevenson in the sixth round. However, Beasley would be released after the 2021 season and the Bills struggled to find his replacement or a player who consistently could make an impact.

If the Bills had drafted Amon-Ra St. Brown it would have changed how the Buffalo Bills have approached the offense the past few seasons. The most notable is that they likely would not have drafted Dalton Kincaid in the first round in the 2023 NFL Draft.

That move could end up being the better one but time will tell. However, there is no question that Amon-Ra St. Brown would have been a better pick and probably would have had a bigger impact than Boogie Basham to this point.
