Osa Odighizuwa

If there is one positive from the Buffalo Bills selection of Boogie Basham is that they didn't really miss on any defensive ends after their selection. There is a case to be made that Basham is the best defensive end from the 2021 NFL Draft from what was available when the Buffalo Bills made their pick.

However, if the Bills wanted to improve the pass rush on their defensive line then Osa Odighizuwa would have been the better selection. The defensive tackle was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the third round with the 75th pick and has been a key part of their defense the first two years in the NFL.

In total, Odighizuwa has started 29 games during that time and has six sacks, 22 QB hits and 11 tackles for a loss. He probably wouldn't start for the Bills as he plays a similar position to Ed Oliver but he could have been a key part of the rotation.

If the Bills drafted Odighizuwa they likely wouldn't have signed Tim Settle last offseason and Odighizuwa would have been a good replacement for Ed Oliver last season when he missed a few games due to the ankle injury.
