3 Key Matchups for the Buffalo Bills versus New York Giants
By Joe Cook
As we enter Week Six of the 2023 NFL season, the Buffalo Bills sit at a record of 3-2. The Bills dropped their second game of the year this past Sunday in London against the Jaguars. It was a weird game where the Bills made plays and probably should have won, but just couldn’t get it done in key moments.
Despite the Bills’ defense being banged up coming into the game and suffering more injuries during it, they played pretty well. The team as a whole just didn’t show up. A lot of fans, and even analysts, are blaming it on the Bills traveling too late in the week to London. However, to not make any excuses, the Bills team just didn't get it done.
The biggest thing that hurt the Bills, was the offense failing to sustain drives. It was very uncharacteristic for the offense, but they didn’t convert a first down until nearly the end of the first quarter. As mentioned earlier, it was just a really weird game. The Bills will look to bounce back this week at home on Sunday night football, versus the New York Giants.
