Even though the Buffalo Bills got themselves a big win against the Jaguars on Sunday, it didn’t come without some bad injury news. The Bills lost both Gabe Davis and Tyrell Shavers to torn ACLs each, ending their seasons. In addition, prior to Sunday’s game against Jacksonville, the Bills placed Joshua Palmer on IR which ended his 2025 season.
The Bills have lost three of their receivers in a matter of three days and getting ready for a road playoff game in Denver, that’s not the news fans wanted to hear. It makes you wonder what the Bills could do at the position because at the end of the day, you need starters and depth. Right now, their depth does not look great at all.
There is an option for the Bills, if they wanted to atleast bring in some depth for the rest of the playoffs. It may take people by surprise, but considering where the Bills are at, almost any option should be on the table for discussion.
NFL Insider suggests Bills make the call to Odell Beckham Jr.
NFL Insider Josina Anderson made a suggestion on what the Bills could do to address the wide receiver room for the rest of the playoffs, and that is to potentially give a call to WR Odell Beckham Jr.

Now, there are many ways to look at this potential scenario. At the end of the day, the Bills may not even want to bring him in. At the same time, Buffalo has to have options just in case injuries strike again.
Beckham won a Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams back in 2022, so he has the experience in big games.
However, Beckham is clearly not the same player that he once was when he was with the Giants. He had some success in Cleveland, but not a ton. Then he went to the Rams where he made a little bit of an impact, but then he tore his ACL in the Super Bowl after scoring a touchdown.
He missed the 2022 season and then played with the Ravens in 2023, then he played for the Dolphins last season. Beckham was suspended for six games this season for violating the league’s PED policy. However, he is free to sign with a team and there is no team that needs more WR help than the Bills.
Even if he is just signed onto the practice squad, that atleast gives the Bills someone to help them in practice. Overall, the Bills need to make a move to gain some depth at the position that they are the most weak at.
