With the Buffalo Bills earning a great 27-24 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, they will now turn their attention towards the No. 1 AFC playoff team in the Denver Broncos. Josh Allen carried the team to victory, but we have to give credit to the defense for stepping up in big moments.
While the run-defense is still a huge issue, the defense overall came up big in crucial moments, including on the Jaguars’ final drive that resulted in Trevor Lawrence getting picked off on the first play of the final drive.
Even though the defense made their plays, there was one player that was nowhere to be found for Buffalo and it was a little concerning. Edge rusher Joey Bosa was nearly nonexistent for Buffalo and these are the type of games that the Bills need Bosa to wreck havoc.
Joey Bosa must overcome Wild Card struggles in Divisional round
Outside of one hit on Lawrence, Bosa didn’t record a single stat and he didn’t provide a ton of pressure coming from the edge. These are the types of games that the Bills brought Bosa to Buffalo. He can’t be just out there, he has to be making an impact.

Lawrence was sacked just one time and it was by Greg Rousseau. Usually, it’s Bosa the one who is chasing down QBs and Rousseau being more impactful against the run. While Bosa gets a little bit of a break with Buffalo winning, Bosa has to step it up this Saturday against Denver.
He will be going back to a place that he would go to every season as a member of the Chargers, so Bosa should be used to that kind of environment. While the Broncos’ offense has been hit and miss this season, Bosa has to lead the way for Buffalo’s defensive line to pressure Bo Nix all game long.
