It hasn’t been the best sight to see with the defense for the Buffalo Bills in their last two games. However, they have managed to close out games and make the necessary plays when needed. Still, giving up 62 points through two weeks is not the best look for Jim Leonhard and this unit.
Luckily, they should get a little bit of a break going into tomorrow's game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Their offense has been an absolute mess under Mike McDaniel, and Buffalo is coming off extra rest from Week 2. Ultimately, the Bills defense should have a solid game as long as they don't let up.
In order to keep LA's struggles going on offense, there are four Bills defenders that have step up more than they have through two games in order to make it happen. Obviously, we know that players like Deone Walker and Greg Rousseau are going to be the biggest contributors, but the defense needs more than just them two.

OLB Michael Hoecht
Michael Hoecht brings the energy and passion to this defense. Moving him from edge rusher to outside linebacker was the smart decision, but now we are just waiting for him to make the impact that we know he can. While his pass rush has been solid up to this point, Bills fans are hoping to see more of the bull rush that he showed us last season before his Achilles injury.
CB Davison Igbinosun
The Bills' second 2nd-round pick has earned some valuable playing time through the first two weeks. He's shown to be solid in coverage, but he still has to clean up his penalties with grabbing the receiver. It was the biggest knock on him coming out of Ohio State.
With the Chargers not having a great receiving core, Davison Igbinosun has the chance for a mismatch that could very well be in his favor.
LB Dorian Williams
I don’t know about anyone else, but I definitely like what I have seen out of Dorian Williams against the run the last two weeks. He brings that physicality to stand up the ball carrier at or behind the line of scrimmage.
Even though him and Kaleb Elarms-Orr had a competition throughout the summer and going into the season, it's clear that Williams has been the lead next to Terrel Bernard. The Chargers could very well be leaning towards having Omarion Hampton be the go-to guy for their offense. If that is the case, Williams is going to have to step up against the run to limit Hampton and make Justin Herbert throw the ball more.
OLB T.J. Parker
It's been a quiet start to the season for Buffalo's first draft selection in T.J. Parker. I get it, it's only two games into his NFL career, but with the production that Greg Rousseau and Bradley Chubb have put together, you would think that Parker would pick up on some things quicker and become an impactful player himself. That hasn't been the case yet.
Maybe things will start to turn for Parker this week against the Chargers and he can add more value to that OLB room.
