The Buffalo Bills are back in action in two days when they host the Los Angeles Chargers in a matchup that the Bills should easily win, atleast on paper. While Buffalo comes into this game at 2-0 with a high-powered offense, the Chargers have shocked the league by dropping their first two games at home to the Cardinals and Raiders.
You would think that the Bills should handle the Chargers without any issues. However, this is the NFL, and anything can happen on any given day. This matchup can easily be considered a trap game for the Bills.
At the same time, with the way that Buffalo's offense has been rolling these last two games, as well as some defensive standouts, the Bills should definitely have no issue on Sunday against the Chargers. This includes a former Charger in Joshua Palmer, who could easily have one of his best games as a member of the Bills.

Joshua Palmer has best game as a Bill
Last season was a rough one for Palmer, having dealt with injuries that eventually made him miss the playoffs. With that and inconsistency, Palmer had only 303 receiving yards and he never made it into the endzone.
Now through two games, Palmer has already doubled his touchdown number from last season. He has a touchdown in each of the last two games, with both of them going for 30+ yards. His touchdown grab in Houston ended up being the game-winner for the Bills.
Palmer has had just 5 targets this season and his 2 catches that went for touchdowns. Going up against his old team that he spent four seasons with from 2021-2024, I am predicting that Palmer is going to be more involved in the passing attack and have his best game as a Bill.
Obviously, it wouldn't take much production to have his statistically best game as a Bill. However, it's time to let Palmer grow even more in this offense.
Greg Rousseau racks up 2+ sacks
The only other player on the Bills defense that has been a star other than Greg Rousseau is Deone Walker. However, Rousseau has been establishing himself as one of the best pass rushers across the league. He’s got 4 sacks and 3 forced fumbles already and it’s only September.
His 4 sacks currently lead the NFL and as a matter of fact, he has more sacks than the entire Chargers defense (3). Rousseau has had multiple sacks in each of the last two games and I'm feeling extremely confident that he will do it again.
Bills have three-score lead going into halftime
When you have a quarterback like Josh Allen, you know that the offense is going to light up the scoreboard. In Week 2, the Bills were very close to having a three-score lead going into halftime until the Lions scored a field goal to cut into the lead. Detroit's offense is way more powerful than LA's, and there's a good chance that their offense will once again look bad.
Allen and the Buffalo offense have to get out to a fast start and not let up. If they do that, the Chargers won't have any kind of chance for a comeback.
Josh Allen goes unsacked vs. Chargers defense
Allen has been sacked four times so far through the first two games. He's been sacked twice in each game, but each defense for Houston and Detroit had ferocious pass rushers coming after him. With the Bills having the extra rest and time to prepare for someone like Khalil Mack, the unit should be able to keep Allen upright and let him work his magic through the air.
