It’s amazing how every single year, Bills fans get the chance to watch Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills absolutely embarrass the Miami Dolphins. Since 2018, Buffalo has only lost to Miami twice by a combined six points.
The Bills have defeated the Dolphins 13 times since Allen's rookie year (including once in the playoffs) with a handful of games won by double digit points (including one shutout win). For some reason, Allen always tends to play his best games against the Dolphins. What Tom Brady was to the Bills, is what Josh Allen is to the Dolphins.
As for Tua Tagovailoa, he’s had his success against the Bills, but he’s had more failures. Going into this Week 3 matchup tonight, Tua and the Dolphins could be in a lot of trouble against the Bills. While they are completely falling apart in the first two weeks, the Bills are off to a strong 2-0 start that has featured them making a comeback win in Week 1, and then dominating the Jets this past Sunday.
Since Allen does so well against Miami, whether it’s in Miami or Buffalo, don’t be surprised if Allen once again does something great to impress the NFL world against the Dolphins.
Josh Allen prediction would have Bills fans laughing uncontrollably
Ryan Heckman of NFL Spin Zone put out a Josh Allen prediction that would be absolutely wild to see in tonight’s game. Heckman is predicting that Allen will have “more rushing yards than Tua Tagovailoa has passing yards”.
"This matchup is set up perfectly for something wild like this to actually happen. The Bills have the league's top passing defense through two weeks and are giving up just 124.0 yards per game.Ryan Heckman, NFL Spin Zone
Meanwhile, Josh Allen's career-high in rushing yards (135) did, in fact, come against the Dolphins back in 2018. With Miami being a bottom-8 team against the run, look for Allen to go wild and, well, the Dolphins continue being a mess."
This could be one of those games where we see Allen go absolutely MVP mode and send the Dolphins into a bad 0-3. Now hopefully we don’t have to see Allen scrambling all the time and risk getting hit. However, if he shows off his dual ability to be a big time playmaker, then it would not be surprising to see Allen put up the most ridiculous stats like he has before against Miami.
