There is a strong chance the Week 3 NFL schedule gets started with a huge blowout game between the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins. The Bills are off to a 2-0 record that includes a comeback win against the Ravens, and a beatdown win against the Jets. As for the Dolphins, they are looking like one of if not the worst team in football.

Buffalo’s offense has put up 71 points the last two games and their defense finally showed what it is capable of doing after stopping the Jets from doing anything last week. As for the Dolphins, their season opener featured them losing 33-8 to Daniel Jones and the Indianapolis Colts (where Miami only got one garbage time touchdowns). Then this past week, they lost at home to the New England Patriots.

Now, they are tasked to come to Orchard Park on a short week to go up against an almighty Bills team. Yeah, good luck to them.

With that, we take a look at these bold predictions for this AFC East battle kicking off this Thursday night.

4 bold predictions for Bills vs. Dolphins in Week 3

Josh Allen has 6 total touchdowns

We saw Allen do this last season against the Rams, where he threw for three touchdowns and rushed for three touchdowns. Now granted, Allen had to put the Bills on his back but it wasn’t enough as the Bills fell short, 44-42. At the same time, it was one Allen’s best games as a pro and the fact that he got into the six times shows just how dominant he was.

In this game the Dolphins, Allen may not need to put six touchdowns to get the win but if Buffalo can come out strong and get into the endzone early and often, we just might see him have a huge performance.

Joey Bosa records 3 sacks

Coming off a great performance against the Jets, Joey Bosa has the chance to dominate even more against the Dolphins. Week 2 showed us a version of Bosa where he was creating tons of pressure and even took down Justin Fields for a sack.

Per Tom Pelissero, the Dolphins have lost offensive linemen James Daniels and Austin Jackson, both who are on the right side of the line. Now that Miami is going with backups, this is a great chance for Bosa to get to Tua Tagovailoa multiple times.

Keon Coleman records first ever multi-touchdown game

Keon Coleman had a quiet week against the Jets, but the Bills didn’t need him to have a breakout performance. He had just 26 yards off of 3 receptions. However, Week 1 was his best performance as a pro where he had 8 catches for 112 yards and a score. This week, he has a favorable matchup going up against a Miami secondary that is one of the worst in the league.

If Buffalo decides to get the passing attack going, there is a great chance that Coleman could get his first multi-touchdown performance as a Bill. He hasn’t more than one touchdown in a game up to this point in his NFL career.

Bills win by 21+ points

If we are being completely honest, it is so hard to imagine a scenario where the Dolphins come even remotely close to the Bills in this game. I’m not saying that Miami can’t put up a fight, but Buffalo is stronger, more organized, and more disciplined. The Bills have the Dolphins’ number and have beaten Miami five times by 21+ points since 2018, per Pro Football Reference. It’s very likely that we could see a game where Buffalo wins by three scores to get to 3-0.
