Through three games of the NFL season, there is no doubt that Josh Allen has already put himself in the MVP conversation once again. The defending MVP of last season is off to a hot start once again and has proven that he can protect the ball, and make the big plays when he needs to.

He has passed for 755 passing yards and five touchdowns. In addition, Allen has also rushed for 114 yards and two touchdowns. In Week 1, he put the Bills on his back and led them to a 15-point comeback against the Ravens and then just this past week against the Dolphins, he once again proved why Miami has no chance at beating Buffalo when he is under center.

Again, it is quite hilarious that there are people who still say that he didn’t deserve to win the MVP award last year over Lamar Jackson. Let’s not forget, the MVP award goes to the player that is the most valuable player to their team. While Jackson is an important player for the Ravens, Derrick Henry is more valuable than Jackson is to the Ravens.

Allen on the other hand literally has to carry to the team sometimes just to squeeze out a win. Therefore, he’s more valuable than Jackson is. However, Bills fans know that Allen is going for something bigger than another MVP award; he’s looking to bring a Super Bowl to Buffalo.

Latest QB power rankings has Josh Allen leading the way (to no surprise)

Sayre Bedinger from NFL Spin Zone recently put together a QB power rankings now that Week 3 is over with. With no big surprise, Bedinger put Allen at No. 1 and he deserves the top spot. Here’s what Bedinger said about Allen:

"Josh Allen had half as many touchdowns (3) as he did incompletions (6) in a win on Thursday against the Miami Dolphins. Even with the Dolphins making a game out of it, it just felt like Allen was constantly in command…because he is. The reigning MVP is on another level, even in tight games. It just feels like there’s no situation right now in which Allen and the Bills do not have the advantage. "

No one is playing better football than Josh Allen. He’s protecting the ball, finding multiple targets on offense, and overall just brings a calm yet dominating presence to this offense. An offense that is averaging 34 points per game through the first three weeks. Not to mention, he has had to help a defense that is giving up a lot of points and a lot of yards.

Now, while Allen should not be the main reason why the Bills win every single game, it’s a great feeling for Bills fans knowing that as long as #17 is under center in his prime, the Bills will always have a chance.
