It was a thriller of a game between the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals led for most of the game, but the Bills were the ones that made the crucial 4th quarter plays that pulled them ahead of Cincinnati. The Bills were down by 10 points early on in the 4th quarter, but they outscored the Bengals 21-13 to get the five point win.

There was a feeling that this could be a high scoring game, and it lived up well beyond expectations. With 73 total points and the Bills needing to convert on a 3rd-and-15 after the two minute warning to put the game away, it has become a candidate for game of the year.

The Bills have now played in two of those games this season. This game against Cincinnati, and then in Week 1 against the Baltimore Ravens where the Bills hit a walkoff field goal to beat the Ravens, 41-40.

The Bills were down 40-25 against the Ravens in the 4th quarter before scoring 16 unanswered points to take down the Ravens. After the celebration started for the Bills, Josh Allen let the media know in his postgame interview that the fans who left early should have some more faith next time. Well, they surely did in this game based on what Allen said in his postgame comments this time around.

Josh Allen sends reminder that fans should always believe until the end

Buffalo came back down by 10 points against Cincinnati and played great complimentary football to close out the close win over the Bengals. After the game, according to Dan Fetes, Josh Allen said β€œIt was cool to see the fans stay in the fourth quarter.”

At one point, it truly looked like the Bengals were going to do just enough to beat the Bills for the third time since 2023. However, the Bills had other plans as they picked off Joe Burrow back-to-back times and Josh Allen took over the game in the 4th quarter to put pressure on Burrow.

This is now the second time where the Bills have made a comeback of 10+ points in the 4th quarter, both of them being against teams in the AFC North. Enjoy this win, Bills fans. There is still a lot of football to play this month and anything can happen.
