Joe Brady was officially introduced today as the new head coach of the Buffalo Bills and the new era has officially kicked off. Both Brady and Brandon Beane addressed the media, answering questions about all aspects of the team. Quite frankly, Brady was very impressive but we all know that the only thing that matters is how Brady attacks this offseason and what he does on the field.

After the press conference came to an end, Josh Allen talked with the media about various topics as well. Mind you, Allen showed up in a walking boot and crutches after having surgery on his foot.

One comment that Allen said should have Bills feeling a sigh of relief with the hiring of Brady, because there were (and still are) some people who may think that this was not the right direction to go in. However, Allen disagrees.

Per Matthew Bove, Josh Allen said “I truly believe in the direction of this organization starting from the top.

Josh Allen gives Bills fans huge reason to believe in the direction Bills are going

At the end of the day, Allen is the face of the franchise. Since arriving in Buffalo back in 2018, he has earned the trust of not just his teammates, but as well as his coaches, the staff in the building, and the fans as well. There is a reason why Allen was in these head coaching interviews, because he is a valued member of the organization.

Him saying that he trusts the direction that the Bills are going should bring relief to fans who still may have doubts about this new move.

While Allen does give fans a huge reason to believe in this direction, what happens from here on out is still very crucial. Brady has to build his coaching staff and bring in the best coaches possible to support the players.

After the press conference was over, Ian Rapoport reported that the Bills had hired Steelers’ offensive line coach Pat Meyer, who worked with Brady when they were with the Carolina Panthers. Sal Capaccio then reported that Meyer was with the Bills in 2016-2016 where he was working under Aaron Kromer, who just retired from the Bills after their season ended.

It’s a solid start, but Brady needs to work fast to bring in a solid defensive coordinator for the Bills, because quite frankly, the defense needs the most work out of anything on this team.
