Bills fans won't like how Josh Allen showed up to Joe Brady's press conference

Not ideal.

Near the end of the 2025 regular season, Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen suffered a right foot injury. This is never an ideal thing, but obviously, injuries can vary in severity. Allen is as tough as they come and obviously did not miss a game for Buffalo.

Allen got banged up a bit more and gave it his all in the playoffs, leading the Bills to a win in the Wild Card Round over the Jacksonville Jaguars, but Buffalo fell to the Denver Broncos in the Divisional Round. Typically, many NFL players put off procedures until after the offseason - many injuries are able to 'wait' in that regard.

Players don't want to miss time and want to be on the field, so that's a huge reason why the offseason is filled with procedures up and down a roster. Well, Josh Allen may need a procedure on his right foot, but it should not impact his availability at all. Just before Joe Brady's introductory presser as head coach, Allen was spotted in crutches.

Here is the video, obtained by WHEC-TV, showing Josh Allen in crutches:

No matter how you slice it, Josh Allen needing to be on crutches just is not ideal at all, and you have to wonder just how badly his foot was hurting down the stretch. Allen is as competitive as they come and is, arguably, the most physically-dominant player in the NFL.

He does put his body in harm's way sometimes when he runs the ball, and he did get sacked more than usual this year. It's not the first time Josh Allen has been hurt, and it likely won't be the last. All in all, though, the injury should heal up just fine, and there appears to be absolutely nothing pointing to Allen missing any time.

It's been a whirlwind few weeks for the Buffalo Bills. After the controversial ending in the Divisional Round, Sean McDermott was shown the door, and the end of season presser with Brandon Beane and Terry Pegula was a bit of a mess.

Now, Buffalo kind of keeps things the same with hiring Joe Brady as the next head coach, so that might not lend itself to different results in 2026 and beyond. All in all, the Bills want to put this season behind them and make a run at the Super Bowl next year.
