When the Buffalo Bills take the field today to go up against the Jacksonville Jaguars, they will be looking to not only advance but to also silence any doubters that have been doubting them this past week. We get it, the Jaguars are one of the hottest teams right now. However, have we forgotten what Buffalo has done in the playoffs under Josh Allen?

Yeah, the same Josh Allen that has 34 total touchdowns to just 4 interceptions in 13 playoff games. The same Josh Allen who has literally carried the Bills for a majority of his career. Jacksonville is no joke, but neither is Allen.

This game is set up to be one of, if not the best game of the weekend. You have a great Jaguars team hosting a Bills team that is led by the reigning MVP and has the most recent playoff experience in the AFC.

Throughout this season, Allen has had to put on the Superman cape and lead the Bills past opponents. While it does get annoying that he has to be the reason why, the Bills should take any win because now, that’s all that matters. Just win and advance.

For as tough as Jacksonville will be, Allen is going to be just as tough if not more.

Josh Allen's Wild Card history should have Bills fans full of confidence

The Bills’ PR team posted Allen’s stats from his wild card performances throughout his career and they are absolutely unbelievable. Throughout Allen’s playoff career in the wild card round, the Bills are averaging over 31 points per game and the offense averaged over 345 yards.

When it comes to Allen himself, he has 15 passing touchdowns to just 2 interceptions, and a passer rating for 114.5. His best wild card performance took place in 2022 against the Patriots where he had 308 passing yards and 5 touchdowns.

I get it, every year is a new one and anything can happen. Just like how Jacksonville has been a phenomenal team, they can be cooled off at any moment. That’s the beautiful part about sports in general, what happens in the game is what really matters.

Kickoff from EverBank Stadium is just a few hours away, and Bills Mafia better be hoping that Allen can do what he does best and lead the Bills to a win over a tough Jaguars team.
